swimming, dream by Sab -- Dec. 15, 2013

I am swimming in a lake in a beautiful environment. As I realize I am alone, and already very far , I make sure no ones around and I take off my white bikini, using it to attach my hair. I am now swimming naked.
Having water flowing across my skin is such a great pleasure.
There’s a lovely freedom to it and I don't want to interrupt this delicious moment.

Thanks Mikele for this very pertinent interpretation. It does make lots of sens to me.
My dream content seems indeed to evoluate as time goes, although I still have trouble to incorporate the messages into my personal and spiritual development. I need more time to see the chart evolution and to answer your question :)

    How about this interpretation:

    * Water/lake represents your subconscious (often dark waters do, though here the water seems clear).

    * You are now "diving" into your subconscious through dreamwork and introspection.

    * Diving there feels really good, you are finaly giving a voice to this part of you that was previously unexplored / emprisonned.

    * The aspects of the above point seem to be also reflected in the "chateau d'If" dream, in which the chateau may also represent your unconscious mind, with it;s dark rooms, mysteries and treasures: "finaly", you are visiting this place, le chateau/your unconscious, which you have always wanted to, and you are now finding freedom, as the hero in Dumas's novel (although he found it by getting out, and you are finding it by "getting in").

I wonder how all this sounds to you.

Regarding your recent dreams, would you say that your dream content has changed since you've started dreamwork ? More happy / less stressful ?

    Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks Cosmos for your comment. Yes Swimming has always been a great pleasure for me. May be I should swim more often instead of only running...
In french " nager" , to swim, also means to be confused and to have not much control on something. May be this dream also means that I still have difficulties with various aspects of my subconscious mind ? The environment is beautiful, reminds me the canadian crystal clear lakes I saw when I visited my brother in Quebec, 2 years ago, large, clear and empty.
Funny thing is that I always claim that I prefer swimming in the ocean, rather than in lakes. I use to find them beautiful but relativly boring, too quiet ...Ironically, my dream chose a peaceful lake, which was not scary at all to answer your question. I see the fact that I am naked as a probable wish to express freely myself .

I love being in the water, too. But my joyful experiences are always marred by the knowledge that it will end. I try to stop myself from doing so, but helas, it happens. Wonderful dream, but were you at least a little bit scared to swim in a lake? Was the water clear? Were you alone? Why was the environment beatiful? That statement reminds me of the lakes in Mammoth that I passed on my way up north when I headed to Burning Man a few years ago. Crystal clear, with some snow still visible in the surrounding mountains. Or, was the lake in a forest, where you could hear the birds and surrounded by a dense green forest?
