Dog Kills Wolf, dream by marzbar -- Aug. 9, 2012
My house has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. It's winter and the outdoor pool is closed, covered and a blue tarp is over top but of a pile. So perhaps there pool isn't in use, just stuff piled high in it (?). I'm upstairs and can see both pools at he same time through a large window. A wolf comes into the out door pool area and is sniffing, kind of running...as I would expect a wolf to be on his own. My dog gets out through from the inside pool area and goes straight for the wolf. I think I'm looking or calling for my husband at this point. I'm concerned my dog won't make it. I come back to the window and see the wolf, dead, lying in a heap over the tarp, along with all the other stuff like wood and construction materials. At the same time, my dog comes to me and sits and bows his head. I see he's being obedient/letting me know he did that for me. I'm fearful for his health-could he have caught a disease from the wild animal

Associations: I have an indoor pool. I wonder if the indoor/outdoor is my inner and outer way of being or thinking on the subject of the behaviour of my dog these days.
Additional info: Most striking to me is the indoor and outdoor pools. There is some part of me that is closed off with building materials piled high...perhaps a project that I've neglected. Probably, however, are the feelings I've had to muster to do this training...what seems to me as cold and closed off (can't look at, touch or talk to the dog for 8 weeks).
The killing of the wolf, perhaps my thoughts on what my dog could be capable of-the wild part of him.

Context: I'm going through a strict training regimen with my dog right now. I was given the distinction of him trying to possess me, rather than protect me in what's going on with our 'pack'
I watched the movie 'the grey' a couple of weeks ago...but this didn't have that feeling
