I was in someone's possibly-new house. One of the owners was showing a kind of kinetic sculpture where two semitranslucent rock slices could rotate one above the other on an axle , and a light from below cast interesting looking shadows . The effect was a bit washed out as the room was lit so I suggested he use a stronger halogen light with a dimmer.

I then found myself in an airport. I stepped out a door leading to the tarmac and it seemed that this was a press/security-only type situation for reception of some dignitaries arriving soon. There was a korean guard there who gave me quizzical looks but I just pretended I belonged and he let me be. Some African politicians or royalty arrived, some of them extremely tall , passing by to enter the airport although they didnt go in the door I had exited but rather just paraded by. One shaven-headed woman gave me an amused look
