There was some sort of conference going on at a uni. I think I was attending. It was about the notion of reality as a computation along the lines of Wolfram but earlier. There were vehement discussions as to why reality had to or could not be based on some sort of network of computing elements at the Planck scale. In the evening there was an outdoor dinner or soiree.
