lucid dream at the WCC, dream by jeremy.rutman -- April 28, 2023
IRL I was having trouble sleeping so I caught a few hours of the world chess championship. Somewhere in there I fell asleep and: I was sitting near the table where Ding Liren and Ian Nepomniatchi had just finished playing. There was a partially disassembled dinosaur toy on the floor and I remarked that someone had had an even more epic battle than theirs, at which they chuckled. I somehow realized I was dreaming and cried out 'this is a lucid dream!!' and tried to start flying. However it seemed all manner of negative thoughts were holding me down like cables to the earth.
