I was driving, approaching a hill somewhere in Israel with HC. Seeing the hill ahead I gunned the engine to make it up easier, but had to keep the acceleration high since it seemed the hill was much steeper for much longer than expected. I was worried the engine would overheat as has happened to me before in similar situations, but when we finally crested, the temperature was only 86C. I could see in the distance smoke pouring from a car that hadn't been so fortunate. We came to a construction site that had to be avoided taking a right, but the signage was poor and we ound up in the middle of the construction site, our way blocked by the dropoff of a gravel embankment ahead and some equipment that moved into our exit path behind. I got out and one of the machine operators tried to nail me with some sort of threshing machine, which I managed ot avoid by getting out of its range of motion.
