I was working or observing on a construction site making the track of either a monorail or a roller coaster (or a very dangerous highway). The construction coordinator was trying to keep everything in line with the construction schedule since local property owners had to agree to when the construction would go through their places, the coordinator was trying to simulate small changes to the schedule and whether these would cause problems down the line. At some point I was crawling over part of the construction which, like in the construction of domes in ancient times, was held up by sand filling a deep pit. The sand was sucked out while I was crawling but I had the presence of mind to grab onto a nearby beam and was ok. I started crawling to a nearby beam lower down and noticed that some of the wooden beams holding the whole construction up were not nailed down - but having noticed this I was able to monkey-walk (arms and legs both involved) carefully and even gracefully from beam to beam without trouble.
At another point in this dream I was setting up a computer that was in a little work nook just off a tennis court. There was a little shade structure with a rolling blind that I could lower to keep the glaring sun out, and I was working on getting the usb connectors of the computer set up to power a peripheral when one of the connectors was somewhat faulty and kept popping out of place. I worked around this having found some other connectors.
