I was about to appear in what seemed to be a combined play and concert. I was supposed to play a cello concerto and was practicing beforehand with Yitzchak Perelman who is a violinist, but who was loaning me a cello. It had a funny tone coming out of it, and when I turned it around it had some odd primitive electronics in it. I was totally unprepared for the concert, being a violinist and never having played the cello but it seemed the cello was similar enough that I might have a chance to play decently if only I had some time to practice. But I went down to a lower concertgoer area and got lost for a bit, passed a bunch of actors in costume , then found my way back to the room with Yitzchak and it was already show time, the rest of the actors filed out and I followed.
