1. I was back in school at harvard, but my current age. It was the start of the semester and as usual I was totally unorganized , hadn't properly chosen courses and was scrambling to figure out what courses to take at the last minute. My friend AS was there but was he really a friend? He said he had a recording of me talking about cheating. A group of prospective students were walking through the large open dorm hall where everyone lived, there weren't individual rooms, I was in my underwear getting dressed and wondered what all these kids thought of this old guy in his underpants stuggling to get his sweatpants on. One of the kids started talking to AS about action potentials, the neural signaling system. He was trying to explain the amplitude was less relevant than the frequency of occurrence and I chimed in explaining that the potentials might always have nearly the same height but could be very frequent or infrequent and it was this that made the difference, so an average value might be used.
I realized this semester might be my last chance to talk to BB, the girl I wanted to get with, but maybe she would think I was still involved with SW ? I never broke it off properly with SW , neither did I really start it . A pattern of my behaviour , everything so half-assed and milquetoast.
2. Was in some jungle. After a first episode where it was rather easier to deal with some jungle antagonist like monkeys, I found myself in a region of trees with jaguars or leopards in them. It seemed nearly every tree had a leopard , which were big and hungry looking. I got out of my tree and found a stick with which I beat the ground thinking it would scare them off not so much. A different type of cat, grey and larger , started stalking me .
