    Airplane crashes, dream by mikele -- Aug. 5, 2014

    I am piloting a plane. It seems going tomsome islands, a little like the
    glenans.

    On one of the islands, I go up on a building. There are other people. We
    see an El Al plane coming down verticaly to the ground. It slams the
    ground. It somehow doesn't disintegrate. First 3/4 of the plane are buried in the ground, and the tail and rest of the back fuselage is left, sticking straight out. The plane is blue, looking like a KLM plane. Some people come out the back door. We hear gunshots. Seems a guys shot someone. People on the roof are horrified, "eventhough it is an El Al plane", I say to myself, which gives me hope for the future.
    People come out the rear door. It is miraculous that people are still
    alive in there. We hear gun shots. Terrorists are still trying to
    kill people. Seems a man is shot. A courageous lady is throwing stuff,
    shoes at the gunman to stop him.

    We are observing all that from the top of our building.

    it's interresting to associate the concepts of war and hope, as they seem on the contrary, so opposed.
    I hope your dream is a good omen with regards to the situation in the middle east.

    Congrats for your Pilot certificate ! what a great achievement.
    Has life worked out the way we've envisioned it? And is it supposed to ? I've also been thinking about that, a lot, and I'm still. Probably related with the 40's literally around the corner ... (well it's done for me :))

    How can we really know ? We're not finished yet. Life is a long journey , and the best is yet to come , enjoy the ride :)

    Yes, the plane is definitely El Al, that looks like a KLM one. It was one of the striking elements in the dream, not sure where it comes from exactly. It is important that it is an El Al plane, indeed. I am not completely sure the people watching with me me from the building know that this is an Israeli plane - but the fact that they are horrified by the crash and shooting tells me they can understand Israel's woes, and that may be there is some hope for everybody. Wish fulfillment on my side ?

    You are right, I do have some sort of conflict in my life at this time: I wonder if I should have gone into aviation as a career. It is something I always wanted as a kid. The realization that a potential aviation career has crashed into the ground: am a bit old for that, now. Just a month ago, (the dream took place about two weeks after that), I earned my Private Pilot certificate, and have really been enjoying it since. Thanks for that insight!

    I will be traveling back to Europe very soon actually, but not on KLM (although same group of airlines!).

    The KLM and El Al references are interresting details but not very clear to me. It's true they have similar colors, but is the EL AL plane looking like a KLM one, because of its deterioration in your dream ? why are you mentionning this as if it was important? How about the others poeple ? Do they know it's not a KLM plane ?

    Don't you think this dream does express a little more than your legitimate concern about the way Israel's image is beeing deteriorated and how you'd like poeple to see things differently ?
    I mean , It's not the first time you're dreaming about war, how about an internal conflict in your life ?

    Finally, have you been flying or will you fly soon ? KLM :) ?
