Interesting phenomenon happening in Kazakhstan and Russia where people suddenly fall asleep into deep slumbers for a number of days.

It seems this has been finally resolved. It appears several toxic gases related to the Uranium mine nearby are responsible for this, including Carbon Monoxide. Individually, the gases were not in abnormal quantities, but together they induced this sleeping phenomenon.
