Recalling Dreams Study, other (Dream article) by cosmos -- Feb. 19, 2014

Here's a link to a summary of an article published in Neuropsychopharmacology re a study led by Perrine Ruby - http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/02/140217085915.htm.

Folks who remember their dreams are more likely to be light sleepers and more sensitive to noise while sleeping and awake. It's an interesting theory, but the study is only based on only 41 volunteers, and I wonder if you volunteer to be in a study about dreaming you're more likely to have vivid memories of your dreams. In any case, apparently, they have also localized the area of the brain where we store dreams, and if that part is damaged, then dream recall doesn't happen. It would be so fascinating to discover how the subconscious and conscious work together.
