General Comment: Having a Hard Time Making Space for Dreamwork ... Need to work on that, other (General Comment on Dreamwork) by wombknower -- Sept. 30, 2012

Dreamwork is important to me. So is collective dreamwork. I like sharing my dreams on this website, I like reading and responding to the dreams of others and even re-reading my own dreams.

But, since school has started it has been difficult to make time for dreamwork; aside from typing my dream into my phone as soon as I wake up, and then planning to put it on the website at some point in the future.

Wondering if others may be experiencing similar challenges, and if we could share and encourage each other to keep on track!

    Dear Wombknower,

First, (if you don't mind) I would like to comment on your username. Striking, and yet we all somehow know the womb.

Yes, I have a suggestion that might facilitate the recording of dreams.

If you use the recording function on your iPhone, or micro-cassette/ electronic recorder, you can get it down faster before you forget the contents.

Unfortunately, this doesn't always work if you have a sleeping partner beside, but the notebook tends to be faster than keying things in, as you can just scribble.

    Best of luck

By the way - this is a really good topic to discuss on the new Forum feature (wink wink).

hi wombknower, I have similar experiences, both in my effort to capture and write dreams down, but also working on the development of the site. The energy comes and goes in waves, usually lasting a few weeks at a time.

Following your comment though: I see this would be a good discussion for a general forum ... On my way to build one!

Thanks always for your enthusiasm with this project ! :)
