Pilots of Battlestar Galactica, lucid dream by mikele -- Aug. 2, 2012
As I was falling asleep, I was focusing on the red light patterns appearing with my eyes closed, and then had this lucid dream.
The red light patterns took shape of pilots from Battlestar Galactica getting ready to take off in their Vipers for a mission. Putting the helmet on, giving the thumbs up, and being propelled out of the launch tube. I could watch them do their stuff, independently from me, perfectly knowing that what I was seeing was a dream.

Striking feature was that the whole dream imagery was constructed from these red wires and patterns that emerge from what one sees when he closes his eyes.

Context: I finished watching the 4 seasons of Battlestar Galactica (the new 2004~2009 series). I didn't really like the first season, but got increasingly into it and impressed, as the seasons went along. Now that it is finished, I miss the characters, but I feel the ending was 'complete'. No regrets about finishing the series.
I also read some material on lucid dreams during the day.
There was light in my room, so I could clearly see these red and dark patterns.
